The Sunday pot roast your grandma made, from beef raised on our ranch.
The rump roast comes from the round, at the back of the animal where the sirloin ends. It's a lean, boneless roast with rich beef flavor. That muscle works hard, so it rewards a slow cook: braise it in a Dutch oven or slow cooker until it pulls apart with a fork. You can also oven roast it to medium-rare and slice it thin for roast beef sandwiches. Cut from all-natural Black Angus cattle, grain-finished.
Dot Seven Rump Roasts are approximately 3 lbs.
Best for: Sunday pot roast, slow-cooker dinners, roast beef sandwiches
Cooking: Slow cooker, Dutch oven, oven roast
This cut is intended to be an add on to any beef box for those customers that are shipping their order. No minimums apply for pickup.
